Description

Taking a company to a higher level of development often involves going beyond boundaries: imagination, existing management methods, or geographical ones. When deciding to develop your company, you can take steps towards gaining foreign markets or benefiting from the offer of a foreign investor. In both cases, management will involve contact with one or more cultures. Each culture operates with different ways of managing processes, personnel, or a company's brand. In every culture, ideas about perception of time, delegation of duties, or the vision of a boss are different. So, how can one effectively manage a company in a multicultural environment despite these differences? The answer to this is the development of intercultural competence in management. Learning practical management skills considering culturally diverse perspectives of clients, suppliers, investors, employees, with respect for their cultures, can significantly bring decision-makers closer to achieving business goals.
